Who is Marc Broklawski?

I’ve worn just about every hat you can in Democratic politics, from local to national. Former member of the Democratic National Committee and the Association of State Democratic Chairs. Former Stafford County Chair. Former 1st Congressional District Chair. Current Vice Chair for Rules at the Democratic Party of Virginia. If there’s a committee table in Virginia, chances are I’ve sat at it (sometimes willingly).

I’ve also served on local school and statewide boards, even ran for a nonpartisan school board seat once because, well, somebody had to. I like the nuts and bolts, rules, process, the unglamorous stuff that actually makes politics work. I’m not here for endless ideological rants; I’m here for the get shit done side of the game.

Outside of politics, I’m a husband and dad to two sons. I’m also a long-suffering Mets and Knicks fan, which means patience and resilience aren’t just virtues; they’re survival skills.

So what do I bring to the table? A mix of insider experience, local grit, national perspective, and the stubborn belief that politics, like sports, is about showing up, grinding it out, and never, ever underestimating the rain delay.
